Additional design tools
There are additional design tools in the Steel design tab for defining steel-specific settings and properties used in detailed member and joint checks. Some tools are used for steel bars, while others are specific to steel joints.
The available Additional design tools are:
- ↘ Buckling length – define and adjust buckling length factors for steel members
- ↘ Steel bar stiffener – define stiffener properties for steel bar elements
- ↘ Physical alignment – set the physical alignment of steel bar elements
- ↘ Define joint – define joint conditions for steel connections
- ↘ Stiffness – define stiffness properties for steel design
