Custom results
The Custom results analysis result allows you to display selected result values directly on structural elements using user-defined result labels.
It provides a flexible way to combine and present different result quantities in a single view for quick verification and comparison.
Custom results are available for the following analysis contexts:
- Load cases – custom results from individual load cases
- Load combinations – custom results from defined load combinations
- Maximum of load combinations – envelope of custom results from multiple combinations
- Maximum of load groups – envelope of custom results grouped by load groups
Result content
A Custom result can be configured to show one or more of the following result types:
- reactions
- displacements
- connection forces
- bar internal forces
- bar stresses
- resultants of labelled sections
A single custom result label can contain multiple values, allowing you to combine several result quantities into one compact annotation.
Result selection
To display Custom results, you must select Custom results from the relevant analysis result sub-group, then select the suitable result definition from the library list.
The available custom result definitions depend on the selected analysis context and result grouping.
Result display
Custom results use a specialised result display that is fixed for this result type.
The results are shown as textual labels placed directly on the corresponding structural elements.
This makes it easy to read and compare selected result values without switching between different result views or display types.
