Climate load panel

Use the Climate load panel tool to add climate panels to speed up wind load for Generic building and snow load generation.

When you select the Climate load panel tool, a new tool palette opens.

Main tools on the tool palette

	Description
	Use External wall tool to add a new external wall panel to the model.
	Use Flat roof tool to add a new flat roof panel to the model.
	Use Lean-to tool to add a new lean-to roof panel to the model.
	Use Ridge roof tool to add a new ridge roof panel to the model.
	Use Associate to structural element function to automatically create climate load panel based on the associated element's geometry. The climate load panel’s geometry changes automatically with the host element and it cannot be edited separately.
	Use Draw panel function to draw the climate load panel with the contour tools.

Contour tools

Only available with Draw panel function.

	Description
	Use Rectangular function to define a rectangle by two opposing corner points.
	Use Circular function to define a circle by center point and radius.
	Use Polygonal function to define the polygon with multiple consecutive points.
	Use Pick lines function to define the shape by using any existing closed shape that is made of lines, edges, axis or edges of a Region.
	Use Pick existing region function to define shape by selecting an existing Region.
