Prepare panel

The panel Prepare contains only the Prepare tool.

Prepare panel also has the interactive clickable panel name that will will take you to the relevant settings in the Settings menu.

Prepare tool

Use the Prepare tool to run selected Create panel tools automatically one after another. You can select which tools (Generate, Refine, Rebuild, Smooth and Check) are used by selecting appropriate checkboxes in the Settings menu. There you can also set the settings for the the automatic Refine tool.

caution

The Prepare tool only generates the mesh on all the objects that do not have any mesh yet. This means that existing mesh is not changed, but all the unmeshed elements will get mesh. Refinements, rebuilding and smoothing are also only made on new mesh. Consider that on big models there may be many objects without mesh and it may take a long time to mesh everything.

Please note that mesh Check (if enabled in the settings) is made for every mesh, even the previously existing mesh.
