Minimum division number

Use the Minimum division number tool to change the minimum division number for line based objects, like bars (beams, columns, trusser) or edges.

When you select the Minimum division number tool from the panel, you must also select a suitable element or elements from the model view. After an object is selected, a new dialogue window opens.

• n - use the dropbox to select minimum number of finite elements the selected object(s) can have. The option Lowest sets the division to be the lowest value it can be (based on other criteria, like value in the settings menu or connected element divisions)

An object can have more divisions than you select with this tool (based on other conditions), but never less than this.
